How does the voice AI work?

What kind of support is provided?

Rainmaker provides timely and reliable support to help you stay up and running. You get clear onboarding, easy setup guidance, and help with adjustments to your messaging and follow up sequences. Support is available through email and chat for questions or updates or through support tickets. Weekly group calls are also available for hands on help.

How quickly can I get set up?

Most users can be fully set up with Rainmaker in a few days. Once your account is created and your lead flow is connected, the only waiting period is A2P registration so you can send SMS.

A2P registration usually completes in 7 to 14 days when your business information is submitted correctly. While that processes, your messaging, sequences, and appointment flow can be prepared in the background.

In most cases, you can begin running Rainmaker within the same week you sign up.

Do I need to build campaigns, workflows, or write prompts?

Nope. Rainmaker provides the follow-up, conversational messaging, and logic for you.
However, you can edit messaging templates if you want. We even have a custom GPT that helps you come up with copy if you want to make edits.

How much setup work is required from me?

Very little. Setup looks like this:

- Fill in Company Info into Rainmaker

- Purchase a phone number

- Connect your domain

- Connect your lead sources

- Register for A2P (required by the phone carriers but don't worry, we'll help you.)

- Approve/Edit your message templates

- Turn the system on

What is A2P and why does it matter?

A2P stands for Application-to-Person messaging. It simply means your texts are being sent from a software platform rather than from a personal phone. Carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile) require all businesses using automated SMS (like AI response, follow-up, and appointment reminders) to be registered under A2P 10DLC.

This protects deliverability and ensures your messages actually reach customers instead of getting blocked or filtered. Rainmaker uses fully registered, compliant A2P routes so your messages stay reliable and carriers know exactly who the sender is.

The A2P process usually takes 7-14 days. Once registered, you can start sending text messages through Rainmaker.

Who is the platform not a fit for?

Rainmaker is not a fit for businesses that do not rely on booked appointments or live conversations to generate revenue.

If your business runs entirely on walk-in traffic or retail-style transactions, Rainmaker won’t provide meaningful value.

Can I customize my account to fit my business?

Of course. We'd expect you would want to do that. We'd want that too. You can add pipelines, stages, automatons, messages, dashboards, etc. You can even customize your AI and give it a unique personality.

What if an appointment is set but then the lead needs to go back to follow up?

Simply move the lead from "Appointment Set" stage to "Follow Up" and the follow up sequences will start.
