Get Facebook and Instagram messages in your inbox

   Link Instagram to your Facebook Page

   In Facebook, link Instagram to your Page first: open your Page, go to its settings, find Linked Accounts, and connect Instagram.

   Open Integrations

   In your RiverX account, go to Settings, then Integrations.

   Connect Facebook and Instagram

   Click Connect on Facebook and Instagram, and sign in to Facebook.

   Pick your Page

   Pick the Page linked to your Instagram and allow the permissions it asks for, including messages.

   Turn on messaging

   Open the Facebook card's Settings and make sure Messenger and Instagram messaging are both on.

   Test it

   Send a message to your Page from a different Facebook account, and check it shows up in Conversations.

Good to know

• Your Facebook login needs full access to the Page, including messages.
• A personal Instagram account won't connect. Switch it to business or creator in the Instagram app.
• Test from someone else's account. Messages from your own business account won't show.
• If a Facebook contact later shares a phone or email that matches an existing contact, the two records merge.
